The rooftop bar at the Coogee Pavilion in Sydney, Australia is a rather instagrammable spot coupled with great food.
I went out yesterday to film some videos for this site and decided to stop by at my favourite beach Coogee for some much needed relaxation.
After I was done with the beach, I headed to the Coogee Pavilion for some bites. This time when I walked in, the restaurant wasn’t as packed as it normally is.
So instead of sitting at the bottom and buying a pizza, I decided to check out the rooftop bar since I have never been there before.
The bar was rather empty too but absolutely stunning deco wise.
If you asked me it was in the same league as the Grounds of Alexandria, a place that most tourists go and flock at whenever they are in Sydney.
The rooftop bar is a very popular feature in most Asian countries, like Thailand and Malaysia but their rooftop bar is always situated on the top floor of some fancy hotel overlooking the city views but this rooftop bar was different.
This bar overlooks the beach and has some breathtaking views of the area and would make an ideal spot for some memorable photos for your Instagram feed.

As for the food, I realised they only offered Mediterranean food and it was nice.
There was no pizza on the menu but their spinach feta which I tried was similar to what a cheese pizza would be and it was pretty tasty too.
Besides that, they also have a sizeable list of non-alcoholic drinks on the menu for you to choose from.
I tried their coco lychee drink, it tasted okay but would have been better if they had served the drink with lesser ice.

All in, I might go back there again soon just to try other stuff on their menu and probably record a video or two there for this website.
We’ll see.
Getting there is pretty easy, once you get to Coogee beach, the rooftop bar is situated on the top floor of Coogee Pavilion.
You can either google your way there or ask any passerby for directions.
