TV: Celebrate Eid With These Treats

A Malaysian dessert company Crème De La Crème (CDLC) has teamed up with iQiyi International, an entertainment and streaming platform headquartered in Singapore to produce blockbuster desserts in conjunction with the upcoming Eid al-Fitr celebrations.
Blockbusters desserts are specially created treats produced in conjunction with a certain event.
This collaboration will see the debut of a specially co-created ice cream flavour in tandem with iQiyi latest Malay drama offering – ‘Sabarlah Duhai Hati’ and ‘Cukup Derita Itu’.
Besides the ice cream, the partnership would also bring about a range of traditional Malay kuih (cakes) made from an array of 100 per cent natural ice cream flavours instead of flour.
“This milestone collaboration marks our foray into the progressive world of entertainment streaming,” Lio Lim, the managing director of CDLC said in a statement.
During the month of Ramadan, iQiyi paid subscribers get to watch the Malay dramas earlier than free users who will only be able to catch it 24 hours later after its original debut.
iQiyi is a free and paid streaming platform showcasing the best of Asian entertainment with subscription costing RM8.90 a month.
The two Malay dramas can be viewed here.
